A few things worth knowing before you buy
Do I need a clipper, trimmer, blades or guard combs?+
It depends on the coat, the area you are grooming and the finish you want. Your plan separates body clipping, detail work and longer guard-comb finishes.
Can guard combs be used over any blade?+
No. Guard combs need a compatible short base blade beneath them. The adviser checks your blade system before suggesting a comb set.
What if the coat has matting?+
Guard combs will not remove tight matting. The adviser puts coat and skin safety first and will point you towards the safest practical next step.
Should double-coated breeds be clipped?+
Usually the first route is brushing, deshedding and outline care. The adviser treats full clipping as a caution route rather than the default.
